Brett has over a decade of professional experience managing people and projects in the automation space. Backed by strong technical knowledge, he has delivered successful projects as a team member and leader across multiple countries and various industries including food and beverage, mining, chemical and petrochemical, packaging, and water treatment. Brett is committed to achieving project goals while building and maintaining industry relationships. He is also dedicated to developing and improving the skills of up-and-coming engineers.

Sam Chen
Victorian Engineering Manager
Master of Engineering Management and Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Sam has over 15 years of automation experience mainly in Food & Beverage industries, specializing in major turnkey projects. He is an expert in several automation platforms and has a deep understanding of S88 Process Control. As the Victorian Engineering Manager, he oversees the Melbourne office and regional projects, while also handling internal training and setting up Engineering standards. Sam holds a Master of Engineering Management and a bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with honour from the University of Melbourne.

The Role
The candidate will be a tertiary qualified electrical engineer who is an agile thinker that can adapt and overcome any engineering situation. They will have several years’ experience as an automation systems integrator with a strong understanding of process control.
- A tertiary engineering degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or similar discipline
- Experience with Rockwell, Schneider, and Siemens automation platforms
- Ignition Perspective experience including the use of Containers
- Python programming
- LMS/LMES and MES development and integration experience
- SAP integration with SCADA, and MES
- On-site commissioning experience
- Industrial security and network design
- MS Office skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Teamwork skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- The right to work in Australia
- An Australian driver’s license
